Philip Gabriel, educated as an architect and interior designer, has practiced for over 40 years in New York City, Ohio, Québec, and Ottawa.
His background in the architectural offices of Eero Saarinen, Marcel Breuer and Edward Larrabee Barnes prepared him for work with Canadian architects Douglas Cardinal, Richard Henriquez and Ron Keenberg. Mr. Gabriel
is Past president of the International Association of Lighting Designers and the National Capital Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
